The desktop app is where C6 Bank's heavier operations happen, and it had accumulated the kind of complexity that only shows up when you watch someone actually use it. This case covers the redesign of that app, a dark interface built for long sessions.
The project started with mapping journeys and interviewing stakeholders inside the bank, then moved to prototypes that were tested with real users before anything was built.
What I did
- Mapped user journeys and ran stakeholder interviews to identify the real pain points.
- Validated design decisions through iterative prototyping and usability testing.
- Designed a dark-mode interface for extended operational sessions.
Outcome
Redesign validated with users before development, reducing rework.
